An article that I was not particularly interested used the phrase “falling off a cliff”. Even though I wasn’t particularly interested in the content, I did open it because I wanted to see the cliff. I was expecting a graph that would give me a sense of the extent of the drop-off. Imagine my disappointment when it was just a wall of text with no cliffy graph anywhere to be seen.
