Startup founders tend to be an eccentric bunch. It’s almost a pre-requisite for a founder to be a bit delusional about their chances of success — even though most companies fail they need to be confident enough to think that their company is the exception.

Startup founders are also very fond of inspirational posts about struggle, sacrifice, growth, culture, etc.

But perhaps taking inspiration from a pyramid scheme is taking it a bit too far.
